It's on a Sunday this year. This will the 15th Anniversary of it.

Or will they go on like nothing happened that day...

In Utah & Idaho, all the men, and many of the women, will honor the day with a heart-felt "take your gun to church" celebration.

People will be swiveling their heads a lot more as they sit in the pews...

ETA: it just came to me that the missionaries will be encouraged NOT to invite nor bring non-white investigators to predominately white wards that Sunday.

I thought you were talking about September 11th, 1857.

I don't know why TSCC would have anything to say on the anniversary of 9/11/2001.

+1

As 9/11 approaches every year, I post something on FB to the effect of "2001 was not the first 9/11 on which religious extremists massacred innocent people!" And I include a MMM link! TBMs in my sphere go quiet. Other folks respond in various ways, usually surprised but intrigued.

Absolutely not. They will deny 9/11/2001 forever. The Q15 death-worshippers and their hirelings are determined to double down on "religious liberty" in the most ridiculous way possible. It's ridiculous because it doesn't even benefit them, let anyone anyone else. It's being promoted simply because it's a rare convergence of opinion between liberals and conservatives within the hierarchy.

Some of the fanatics at BYU are still convinced that a 1978 First Presidency statement obligates the remaining members to believe in Islam. After all, they have a prophet! Who lifted entire nations!l
