It's in Swedish, this link is for those who understand the language:

Mormonkyrkans krav kränker ungas integritet
http://asikt.dn.se/asikt/debatt/mormonkyrkans-krav-kranker-ungas-integritet/

There's nothing new there (for us exmos) but hopefully it can / will open some mormon members' eyes.

Are you in Sweden now? In Uppsala now myself. Would enjoy meeting up with some Swedish exmos.

Doesn't appear to be a paper, more like an article to spur debate.

From the description

"-On DN.Åsikt published weekly current, hot and interesting debates. In our debate forum, readers and invited guests make their voices heard, and get answers to their opinions. Everyone has the chance to influence who is going into the debate."

The debate is that the Mormon Church violates Young People's privacy.

The debate article notes that teens from the Age of 12 are interviewed by their Bishop. They are supposed to obey the Law of chastity. If they break the law of Chastity, the bishop asks more indepth questions, such as what they did, who they did it with, etc.

During this process, the individual is not allowed to participate in ordinance (aka, the ceremonies which are required for them to go to heaven).

It goes on that this degree of questioning by the Bishop to young people is sickening. That it is an invasion of their privacy. In addition, it points out that the LDS church believes in free will, but that (in the author's opinion) children are not old enough to use free will when put under the pressures from a bishop, their family, the congregation, and up to and including the necessary requirements for eternal life.

The author asks aren't there laws that should trump religious freedom in regards to the respect for children's privacy.

At the time I read it, it appeared that 91% of those responding to the poll agreed with Erica Hind Borg (ex-Mormon) in the argument presented.

This paraphrase of the debate argument thanks to Google Translate.

It is very short. You could just copy and paste it into a Google translate.

That's why I pointed out it's for those who understand Swedish.
