Far from it.

Europeans are not Godless at all. Many believe in the Gods Oden, Gaea and may other more exciting and interesting Gods.

I posted (I think about three years ago) about Greeks who are returning to worship of the classic Greek gods...

...and from what I've read, there is a similar return to the ancient gods in Iceland, too. (Iceland is considered part of Europe.)

Its true. Asatru temples dedicated to Odin and Thor are being built in Northern Europe. Iceland and Sweden have temples. I believe Germany as well. Northern California has a worship center as well.

I hope not because without God and manifest destiny we're headed in the direction of communist Russia. Where everyone stands around with their hand out... poverty.

The way you used "manifest destiny" I'm not sure you know what it really means.

Mormonism shares a lot with Manifest Destiny.

Right. Because we have a totalitarian dictatorship, no constitutional guarantees of freedom, no capitalist (with socialist overtones) economic system.

If God made everything then no one is godless. It he does not exist then there is no point to the question.
