Listening to conference with TBM husband

Grinds my gears how my TMB husband is eating every word up. So much BS so many lies and brainwashing. I remember being so insulted as a TBM when people sugggested I was brainwashed but now I see it so clearly. It starts as soon as you're a little baby. Its disgusting. I can only hope one day by husband will see it too.

So frustrating! But there are lots of stories here on RfM about TBM spouses who have eventually come around.

From the posts I've seen on my FB feed, the messages are pretty generic, like anything you could find on any self-help website--You can be happy even if your life isn't perfect--for example. They're treating it as if it's amazing, but really it's not. Morgasms.

I feel the same way whenever I listen to the GC talks with my TBM (now wavering) wife. She would frequently call me in from another room to watch the talks on her computer. It's all an insult to my intelligence, but I'd bite my tongue to keep the peace.
