I saw this quote on facebook and thought it is so on point for the TBMs, They are fooled twice aren't they? Of course they are, as I used to be one of them. :( It's interesting how this quote comes from the same time Ol Joe was creating the LDS fiction.

"There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn't true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true.” ~Soren Kierkegaard, (1813-1855)

So believe the fairy-tale story of Mormonism, then avoid all the truths and evidence that refute the fairy-tale. Twice fooled!!

Very aptly said.

Soren Kierkegaard was an insightful sage. Who sadly didn't get to live very long past the prime of his life. His fixation was death. He outlived most of his siblings by the time he was 22, and would write several books for which is remembered as the founder of existentialism. He abhorred organized religion, but found solace in his Christian faith.

"To have faith is to lose your mind and to win God."

~ Kiergegaard (from The Sickness Unto Death, 1849)
