How would you describe this...

TBM grandfather just posted a picture of Joel Osteen with the caption, "When you make a 40$ dollar fortune off of the church, you're not a pastor. You're a business con man."

It gave a sick pit in my stomach because I know he doesn't realize how much this describes TSCC.

It's bigoted... It's like... I can't find the words to describe it. How would you describe it?

Well he is right about Joel Osteen, just can't see his leaders are no different.

Makes me think of something Glenn Beck said yesterday about getting stuck in a "carefully crafted box"; he was talking politics of course, but so much of what he observes he can't see in his own church.

He sure as hell wouldn't say anything if he did see the light, since he doesn't want a divorce....

Well $40 isn't really a fortune....So I'm guessing you meant $40 million?

No different than Brigham Young....he made millions in the 1800's off the church.
