Gotta say, Grape Nephi and Joseph's Myth come to mind right away.

But I'd say that ex-mo's have the freedom to come up with great monikers, so the creativity thrives.

And Honey N. Boots was another all time hit-a-roo.

"Ificouldhietokolob". It's great on so many levels (such as J.S.'s made-up name for heaven ("kolob"), and, of course, the out-dated "hie", and then the whole kabob, "Ificouldhietokolob"-- (as if we all would want to "hie-to-kolob").

Q: How does one "hie"?

A: Just looked "hie" up in the dictionary, and it is to "hurry".

So, in that his J.S.'s life ended early, he did (in a sense) "hie to heaven" (if that is where he ended up).

Mine is not the least bit clever.

It is a nod to my long-suffering days as a student at the Bee-Why.

I and a group of fellow Californians, used our skills in the art department and silk-screened several tee-shirts with a BYU medallion that was slightly modified (not very many other students or faculty noticed) to say around the perimeter: "California State University at Provo" as a nod to the huge percentage of zoobies from California.

A desperate way to evoke a smile on the inside when you're imprisoned, ifyouknowhutimean...

My favorite is Elder Berry as in Elderberry Wine.
