Joey was stoned alright, and I'm rather sure he loved every minute of it.

To me the "rough" doesn't jive as he liked to think of himself as one "smooth" dude who could fool one fool after the other.

Did Joseph roll? Again I think the adjective dive fits him better. He didn't let much stop him and dived head first over and over and over.....talking with God whenever he needed a certain revelation, starting a bank with others' hard-earned money, grabbing any girl that caught his eye, declaring himself more capable than the Jesus dude with his followers, etc. etc.

Yep, I will describe him as stoned-smooth-diver-sort who took one last big dive out of a jail window to his ultimate demise.
