Does this look about right? Rearrange, omit, or add to as you see fit.

1. Church - Sacrement, classes, post-church meetings
2. Church activities and callings
3. Family
4. Money/Appearing wholesome
5. Education
6. Mormon colleagues/networking
7. Non-Mormon colleagues/networking
8. Church friends
9. Personal interests and hobbies
10. Family pets
11. Non-member friends - Close, casual, and acquaintances
12. Knowledge and deeper understanding - For its own sake or for the sake of strong debate skills

You have "family" way too high on the list.
It should be at least #8.

I agree with ificouldhietokolob: Family is well down the list and, heaven forbid, an apostate spouse would dwell squarely at the bottom of such a list. Meh...

I see where you're coming from and agree. Once family members are viewed as dissenting or as apostates, blood is no longer thicker than beliefs. Beliefs don't have to be mutually exclusive with loving "apostate" family members, but Mormons seem to get a rush from creating unnecessary drama.

Tithing goes along with church, but I would separate it out, and put it at the top, as #1

#1 Tithing and money.

#2 Temple and worthiness. Mormons have to pay tithing to go to the temple, which makes the temple more important than church attendance, which someone can do for free.

Family--somewhere near the bottom, after friends and personal interests.

Otherwise--you got it!

You forgot mission status: full term, sent home early, didn't go at all. Even where you went. Apparently foreign missionaries are more worthy.

CLOSE, BUT NO CIGAR- may be blunt!
Well, after reading closer, some changes, additions, omitions, combinations and slight sprucing up.

> 2. Personal interests and hobbies last, if at all - NOPE! No time or allowance or room for that.

> Knowledge and deeper understanding for its own sake or for the sake of strong debate skills? NOPE, strongly discouraged or altogether non-existent.

Hope this helps - it can't hurt.

Hah. That's why I put knowledge at the bottom of the list. But yeah, it really doesn't belong on the list at all.

And then there's me ((((sigh))))...

1. A people person
2. A cusser
3. A wanker
4. A hairy bastard
5. A straight up gentleman

No wonder I didn't qualify for my own planet.
