Scammers have locked my computer claiming to be microsoft engineers. Amazingly, they all have Indian a ccents and cute western names like Jordan,mcKenzie
and Michael. Need simple steps for a non computer mind to unlock as I was born as a non computer chip model.

2. Which browser are you using?

3. Did this occur after watching naughty videos on an Eastern European Web site?

Here is an explanation. If you don't care to try this yourself, you may wish to take your computer to a tech.

For future reference, Microsoft will NEVER contact you. Don't trust anyone who calls you offering a service. If you are having a problem with your device, you should initiate the call.

I get those on occasion... And when I do...

Don't click anything! I immediately open "Task Manager" and kill the browser(s) dead. All instances of it. If you reboot or anything else you are stuck. After you kill em dead you are safe.

Afterwards, Kick back, crack open a beer and STOP LOOKING AT Click Bate!

You can usually find a solution on line, but you may need to look around a bit until you find one.

Easy fix. Don't click on anything! Not "leave this page", "Help" , "Next" or any other BS. Just go to your Windows Start icon & either "switch user" works 80% of the time, or click "Restart". Goes away.

with 'putters continuing to improve speed & other, U might want to consider buying another.

I buy them New & 2nd hand because I've had good luck with pawn-shop models, I suggest that for your consideration.

these days, IMO, a computer with less than 8 g RAM is only marginally useful; unless you're a Major Gamer, most likely 500g to 1 T storage will most likely do (?)
