mission president Don Stephens. Anyone serve with him?

Today I attended a retirement ceremony. We talked about some coworkers from the past.

I was told that Don Stephens served as a mission president. He has since passed away. I was wondering if anyone was on a mission with him.

I knew him from Hill AFB. Didn't do any church or social stuff with him.

Learned he may have been in Ukraine or Russia. No one at work remembers.
