London meet-up on Sunday (25 March)?

At the risk of ending up with more threads on here about the UK than politics... does anyone fancy a coffee in London on Sunday?

Say 12 midday at Waterstones, 203/206 Piccadilly?

No problem if not, just a thought.

I know where Waterstones Piccadilly is. 12 Midday sounds good. brown corderoy zipper-jacket, green tweedcap, white beard. I will will not always be online while I am London.

Splendid! Let's meet in the coffee shop on the ground floor (it's up some steps, on a balcony).

No idea what I'll be wearing but I have crazy curly hair and I'll wear a missionary name badge!

PS As an aside, I lost my missionary name badges years ago but my wonderful Gay Best Friend (he used to post on here as GayRM, I met him through this board ten years ago) made one for me when we went to see The Book of Mormon Musical here in London, we dressed as missionaries and looked liked a senior missionary couple. :)

Great! I used to come to London every summer and sometimes besides before I went to Ethiopia. The batch will be useful. I have non, never went on a mission.

I hope my plane will not be delayed. I go to Addis tomorrow evening. There might be some rain... Arrival should be next morning in LHR.

Hopefully Storm Doris (or anything else) won't affect your flight but not to worry if you are late or can't make it... I'll be happy with a coffee, and Jack Reacher (alas in book form) for company; it will be an added bonus if you and anyone else can make it. :)

Hey Claire,

I think the storm is now over. I am still at work but in three hrs. I begin with my departure for Addis, the connecting flight to LHR still 13 hrs. away.
