No. I know of few Mormons who actually use the free membership. I use mine because I haven't actually resigned yet. But all members that I am aware of, that use Ancestry actually pay the regular fee. I only know of one person who has actually got their DNA tested and he is not Mormon.

The DNA test cost 90 bucks whether or not your LDS, they don't give that one away.
