Interested in this approach to the Adam=God doctrine, but haven't seen it handled on this site.

Who was the first post-Brigham Young prophet or church leader to repudiate the Adam-God doctrine, not counting Orson Pratt? I'm asserting that if this is false doctrine (as claimed by current leaders), it should clearly demonstrate that BY represents a broken link in the chain of presidential authority or legitimacy. That being the case, any prophet following him who did not repudiate the doctrine also represents another broken link. How far out does this extend? At what point was the chain repaired, if that is even possible without a second restoration?

From here, it appears that John Taylor and Wilford Woodruff also accepted it, and TSCC stopped teaching it about 1900, but the first official denunciation I can find was by SWK.
