TSCC prevents people from developing true friends because we reject nonmembers. A 70 year old guy I know, in the church his whole life. His wife has alhizemers. He is lonely but the only people that come over are assigned, Visiting and home teachers and mishes. So sad.

Yea, it's quite the sham, and a shame - sad too. Losing out for sure on a well rounded life.

It was sad when I figured out that no one in the church was my actual friend. I honestly think they dont know what real friendship is, they would abandon their best friend if they were ex-communicated. They are programmed to love bomb because it's required and gets them Jesus points like robots to the morg.

It's quite the sham, since when someone moves, or the ward boundaries shift, they find the "friends" from the old ward suddenly abandon them, even if they're in the same stake.

Oftentimes that includes family.
