It's interesting getting double-upped on by critics in a speciality cartoon forum, especially when one of those naysayers is a Mormon with an obvious persecution complex.
Here is how the tango tangle took place.
--From Complainer #1:
"Hatred for [our predident] is all Benson has in his life. Pitiful."
--My reply to Complainer #1:
"Your hatred for my cartoons is all you have in your life. Comical."
--From Complainer #2 (an obvious TBM) who noted that he did not completely concur with Complainer #1:
"I don’t agree with you [Complainer #1], his hatred for [our president] is only equaled to his hatred for the Mormon Church."
--My reply to TBM Complainer #2:
"Since you brought up Mormons, why don’t you bring up what [our now-president] told a group of evangelicals about [his] Mormon [campaign] problem in Utah:
“[He] called Utah ‘a different place’ and asked whether anyone in the crowd was from the state.
“’I didn’t think so,’ he said. Some laughed."
"(Washington Post, 11 August 2016)"
--No response.

Nuthin' like the facts to befuddle those "different" Mormon true-believing weirdos.
