I just got the call from my sister in law that my Mom has passed away very peaceful this morning about 7 am eastern time. Thank you so much for allowing to get support here with everything that has gone on.

I'm so sorry, Kativicky. The first few weeks will be the hardest. Remember, there is no one right way to grieve. Whatever gets you through the day is okay. You don't have to answer to anyone else.

We told several hysterical stories about my Mom at the funeral. Not sure anyone but my brother and I appreciated it, but she was OUR mother.

Hey everyone, I just wanted to let you know that I really appreciate the kind words and thoughts. I am doing okay for now. We are not going to be doing any formal funeral or anything but my sister in law and I were talking about doing a little informal potluck for those who want to come and celebrate her life. The plan for her burial is to wait until Dad passes away and combine their ashes together and then bury them together.
