Thanks Cricket.

Don possesses a Twainian grasp of the storyteller's art.

We are lucky to have him here.

I scarcely find time to write these days (damn editing [old stuff], though good for the future) and reading (voraciously) like I do, I wish I could find more time for that too.

However, I must say, since I like stinging nettles, and find, to some extent, still, G.K. somewhat interesting, and Don's stories appealing, I'll probably find/ make some time to dive into this story tonight - take a break from some of the other reading/ projects.

Editing the SPELLchecking ERRORS keeps me busier than a beaver on a damn [hunt for proper spelling]! Damn

Wow, Don, I didn't know this page existed. You're a very interesting and gifted writer. Thanks to Cricket, I hope everyone here takes a peek. I love Nostalgia, which your stories and pictures bring back time.
I've read a few; I'm going to read them all by this weekend.
I wish there was more to the first story, where snooty, mean Fay got her house alright, but later it became infested with termites.
I wanted to punch her out. Reminds me of my sister.
The second one made me laugh when you rewrote the Popeye theme.
My father used to sing it when I was little , to make us laugh.
He rearranged the lyrics also to:" I'm Popeye the sailor man ; olive in a garbage can. I like to go swimming with bow legged women, cause I'm Popeye the sailor man"
I know that most of us " old people" on here can relate to all of the photos. You sure have some classics.
I still have all of my old records; I recognized that 45 with the yellow label and red bird!
Mine is " Batman and his grandmother ", the other side is " suspense ". Which I like better.
I loved the laser shows at the planetarium.
**** You should write a story for one or both of the magazines, " Good old Days" and " Reminisce"
Both very good magazines I get each month, since I let my Ensign and Liahora expire.
Look them up on google if you never heard of them.
I'd guarantee they would publish it
I'd probably just leave out the LDS connections to most of the stories.
Maybe you can do a hockey or baseball story, especially its baseball season, your experiences living around Wrigley will be a treasure , or even base a story off your experiences there
Thanks again for giving us the pleasure

Interesting one, Don. I like the way everyone hates the truthsayer - very realistic ;-)

Keep 'em coming.

My love of my dogs has gotten me through. This story left me speechless.
