I finally got tired of that question. In the past 2 weeks I've had mish. and members alike hang drywall, move an elderly neighbor, clean garbage from fields, paint, rake, distribute clothing to local bridge dwellers.
None of it was for "me" just stuff I do when I can get time and energy up.
I'm the type of person that will not ask you " How are you?" unless I am ready to wait and listen as you go through you entire history, so don't ask me is there anything you can do.

That's a pet peeve of mine too. I never say, "How are you," to someone, unless I mean, "So how are you?" I know it's just the same as, "Hello," these days, but I hate it when someone asks, "How are you," and they're gone before you can even issue the standard and expected, "Fine, thanks."
