Well, I certainly see why you want to show her off. She's beautiful and has a real exotic look about her. Enjoy her to pieces. As you know, they grow up way too fast.

Other mixtures are fascinating because they demonstrate how flexible the various combinations can be. I was raised to think that racial mixing is evil, but I certainly don't think so.
Besides, it's the people themselves who really matter - not what they are on the outside.
A friend of mine from Louisiana was promoted and sent to a training class here in NM. She is, off all things, an albino black. She has very pale skin, kind of orangey hair, and pale grey eyes. She has "Negroid" features, but they are blurred by the paleness of her skin. Her speech is pretty typical of Southern blacks. Like many albinos, she has visual limitations.
She is a super-nice person though, and I'm glad we have kept in touch.
When she was here, I took her to local children's museums, where it was OK to touch things. That way, she could handle the exhibit the exhibits up-close, and actually see them, instead of having to look from a distance. She cautiously sampled NM food, and decided she liked it! It was quite an adventure for her. She had never been very far from home before. Her husband - whom I knew in Louisiana - was very protective, and he was worried about her being away from home. But I assured him that my work was in the same building as her training class, and we saw each other a lot. We had a good time.

Maybe too soon to tell but these people are normally very gifted 'artistically'. Looks like the crayon in her hand now is only the beginning in developing her artistic ability.
