Lost 10 Tribes Records

Prophecy regarding the lost 10 tribes of Israel.

2nd Nephi 29:12-13

12 For behold, I shall speak unto the Jews and they shall write it; and I shall also speak unto the Nephites and they shall write it; and I shall also speak unto the other tribes of the house of Israel, which I have led away, and they shall write it; and I shall also speak unto all nations of the earth and they shall write it.

13 And it shall come to pass that the Jews shall have the words of the Nephites, and the Nephites shall have the words of the Jews; and the Nephites and the Jews shall have the words of the lost tribes of Israel; and the lost tribes of Israel shall have the words of the Nephites and the Jews.

How in the world are they going to pull off this prophecy?

I would love to see them try!

That's what's known as a "teaser."

I'll just bet the author of this passage put it in there with the intention of producing and publishing the "words" himself at some point in the future, but got distracted, waylaid ... or maybe murdered.

Yep. Same with the sealed portion of the gold plates, and the book of Joseph that was supposedly included with the BOA papyri. If Joe had lived, and needed another ancient scripture for some reason, one of those would have suddenly been produced.
