I was shocked to read once how Alfalfa was killed, shot to death over $50.

The 'pretty boy' in this group was a member of my ward. A very nice fellow.

He (and his wife) tried so hard to be good Mormons.

What killed him (I believe), is that he used to donate blood just as fast as they would let him, and he lost his good health--and life--in so doing.

He wrote a book regarding his adventures, and signed the copy he gave me.
