Has the LD$ Church made public the documents they purchased from Mark Hofmann?

I don't think anyone know the true extent of his forgeries. He was not limited to mormon history either.

He forged many famous signatures as well as counterfeiting old paper money.

However, I think a good portion of his mormon related forgeries he leaked so the church would be forced to reveal they had them.

It's all fake, whether they got it from Hofmann or not.

I read that Hofmann said that he never sold anything original--that it was all faked.

He promised prosecutors he would tell all, but that was a lie also.

I believe that came out of "Mormon Murders" by Naifeh and Smith.

No, they haven't.

Once Hofmann was "outed" as a forger, they quietly put them away, never to be seen again. And wrangled with the DA to make sure no church higher-ups would have to testify at his trial -- where they'd have to admit they lacked any spiritual discernment, and were conned quickly and easily.
