This article seems to be engaging in fear-mongering.

Teens have always been subjected to fads, nothing new. The vast majority of teens are not doing this stuff. What does that have to do with imaginary characters from Christian mythology?

I'm confused by the tampon soaked in hard liquor. By design, the tampon swells with liquid. You can't really insert something that is flowered out. But at least one's breath stays fresh!
