To be fair, this isn't just a religious nut kind of discussion. It has been suggested in just as vague and oafish language that the recent hurricanes are karma for voting for our current president.

I am not sure how repenting from whatever is going to stop the sun from shining, or the planet from spinning, or water from evaporating from the ocean, or the storms from forming off the west coast of Africa and working their way across the ocean toward the US.

Seems stopping any of these processes would create far greater problems than hurricanes. I am going to go out on a limb and guess that Cameron doesn't know much about hurricanes.

I mean, you'd think that countries like France, where most people don't care about religion which is considered to be a private matter in legal terms, anyway, or the UK where recent studies show the same lack of support for religions, would be much more frequent targets if their ravings were true.

Both of these countries have extensive coastlines, yet people like this guy think their Ghawd chooses to punish very God-believing countries like Haïti (all the time) or the USA, where God(s) are big-time...
