In Mike Quinn's new book on Corporate Wealth in the Church, he cites on page 27 that Utah laws were changed so that after 1992, financial info eg net worth, is not publically availabe on any person who served has a General Authority in the LDS church. Thus Quinn could not access any probate or other records concerning LDS GA's who had passed away.
This is clearly a law or laws to protect the church from having the public find out how much leaders were worth when they died.
Because of that law Quinn hit a stonewall and his book suffers from having info on leaders only up to 1992.
Can anyone here shed light on the speific law? Seems unconstitutional to me.
