Have you ever encountered Mormons who make absolutely impossible requests so that they can point to you and say "see this person is inept".

I have experienced this in retail.

Some Mormon priesthood holder from the youth group will come into the store and make an outlandish request with all the sweetness and faker of a Mormon. Then refuse the order or state they were only kidding.

Why do Mormons think this is acceptable in society? Do they realize it only places more emphasis on the idea that, they as a group, are seen as unnecessary members of our species?

This behavior really makes you Mormons look Big Assholes. I hope you understand this.

Though some see themselves as paragons of virtue they're, as you suggest, actually a sub-species of society.
Just smile back Bert and mentally kick'em to the gutter.
All the best from the UK.

I would turn it around on the Mormon butthole by saying, "Our company leadership has not authorized us to honor such requests. As a strict Mormon, I would expect you to understand the importance of following the order of leaders."
