So I had a great interview out at USUHS last thursday. The campus was great and military medicine is fascinating! I think I'll get accepted there but you don't usually hear back from them for 4 to 6 weeks.

One of my interviewers was a retired COL from the Air Force. Interviews were only supposed to go 30 minutes and he and I chatted for an hour and 5 minutes! Haha about 20 or 25 minutes of it were questions and him taking notes. The rest of it was him telling me war stories and talking about CRAZY things he's seen. Hopefully that's a good sign?

I also just got invited to interview at University of Colorado med school! That would be a dream to get in so send me your good vibes please.

I'm glad that your interview went well! How awesome about CU med school. I'm an undergraduate alum of the Boulder campus. The son of a friend graduated from the CU med school, and he is doing quite well. I wish you well!

Tonight I talked to her about polygamy and polyandry. She's sticking to her guns. She's the kind of person that gets defensive pretty quickly so I have to go VERY slow and break things down in a way that makes them seem as attacking to me as they are to her.

She has tried to "counsel" me by saying I need to just have faith. I told her it doesn't come easily to me like it does to her and many other mormons I know. Later on I asked, "have you really never wondered, even a little, if by chance this was all made-up?"
Pretty long pause. Then, "no".

Out of state tuition is $62,704, among the highest in the nation.
