"cannibalized" (to be exact) in an another thread.
numbersRus said, "They cannibalized Gateway to improve the look of real estate across the street from their HQ; just to look better for their visitors."
http://exmormon.org/phorum/read.php?2,2053253,2054411#msg-2054411I thought about that word--cannibal.
Joseph Smith and Brigham Young were cannibals of money, teen-age girls, and other men's wives. TSCC is the bloating cannibal of public lands, of mining, of cornfields that are now monotonous subdivisions. The entire Salt Lake Basin has the look of cannibalization.
Mormonism cannibalized our time and our money. It can only be called "cannibalism" to slurp up ten percent of young mothers' and fathers' earnings. They lick their lips over widows' estates, and their heirs' inheritances.
They're ravenous for power. Their teeth are in our free will. They dress us tasty morsels in underwear they dictate, control books we read, what we drink, and who we love. The've seized our ancestors, and spit them back to us, one at a time, in exchange for our absolute loyalty.
Missionaries are Hansel and Gretel of our day--locked up in remote places, while witches squeeze their fingers until they are plump enough to be completely ingested into the grotesque body of mormonism.
I could go on and on ...
"Cannibals." Thanks for a new descriptor of the LDS church, numbersRus.
