Hi I found a video on YouTube of thousands of Mormons leaving this so called church because of discrimination of gay people, wander why? Active Mormons hate gays !and blacks , it is a hate group that is always offended by this or that! But pologomy is ok? Hopefully everyone will leave and the Mormon church will be gone,it is a money, hating cult

About 10 years ago a stake leader told a group of RS women that out of 1,000 single adults in Manhattan only 200 were active. That means 80% weren't involved even if their names were still on the books. Resignations have only become an acceptable means of leaving after some former member recently sued the cult and won $17 million. So perhaps five million have left the cult via inactivity. There separation has not progressed yet to the level of severing ties through resignation. There could be many reasons why they are holding off that decision. I don't think the cult is honest about the numbers of members, wards, and branches, etc. Did Fox give sources for their data? They are notorious for spewing fake news.

Consider Manhattan very active then.
Outside the USA, lots of wards and branches have a single digit number of active members per 1,000 names on the rolls.

In my experience, they are very dishonest about the number of members, but they cannot fake wards and branches.
However, most wards have well over a million inhabitants yet not enough active members to be split in two.
That speaks volumes.

There used to be a meetinghouse near me that housed 2 wards. My neighbors would leave at a different time for a year.

So I was thinking that they've been leaving at 9 am for more than a year this time, so I went a little out of my way to drive past there last Sunday around 1:30 pm and there were only a handful of cars there. Probably bishopric meetings or something. Definitely not a 2nd ward.

They are losing many many members whether they update their numbers to reflect it or not.

I bet they did! Never liked fox and I bet active members would not leave over gays discrimination! But if this so called church said we won't print anymore books of Mormon then many would leave!
