Things discovered from Relief Society calling

Several years ago my friend was RS president. I remember her saying once that she was shocked to discover that the "prominent" LDS women did not always do their monthly visiting teaching assignments. I am a nevermo, so I am wondering what insights other women have found while serving--in any capacity!

If you think, some of these mega-rich, famous mormans. I don't think they're being asked to do any of the "duties" Go figure.
