The church of Satan is often misunderstood. Like it was stated in the article, they don’t really believe in Satan, they just don’t believe in God. They don’t believe in harming other people. In fact the way it was explained to me they believe in kind of a form of self warship or adoration or whatever, I don’t remember exactly what it was. But there definitely is no infant sacrifice or animal sacrifice or whatever. As far as I’m concerned Satanists and the church of Satan should have a better reputation than Mormons.

There is a huge difference between Satanism and The Satanic Temple. TST is an Atheist organization that focuses largely on separation of church and state by operating as a religion. Think Flying Spaghetti Monster.

So tell us about this alleged "satanism".

Oh, feel free to Google the differences, and be informed on what they represent. If you're really an atheist, as I am, you might find that you like what TST represents.

The Church of Satan is an entirely different beast.
