If it works for you, there's nothing wrong with it.
Just remember that long term solitude can have strange effects on people, including effects that they won't notice by themselves, at least not right away. Human beings evolved as social creatures, so the need for the company of other humans is one of the scars of our forgotten ancestors.

Some people i can be around a long time though so it's kind of strange.
I try to be more balanced . Sometimes I just want to be alone and left alone . No People No Phones . Just me mad my cats .Other time I like to be with people .To interact . To socialize . To discuss . Can't see for myself always being alone or always being with other people . people at times can be annoying, irritating, nasty but I think we need these interactions to grow as people .

You're probably right but people do annoy the shit out of me but they probably feel the same about me, so there you go.

One suspects that Badassadam1 was referring to the absolute requirement for Mormon heaven that everybody be deliriously happy as part of an eternal family setting interacting for eternity with other deliriously happy family units for an eternity of youthful exuberance. This is indeed the expected ideal. And yes, there are millions of us for whom that simply doesn't work. For most of us, in fact, an eternity of anything will drive us insane- and if you truly do life forever, then there will be an infinite number of things that you will do for eternity. That's how eternity works.

The idea of being an eternal family is an absolute nightmare for a lot of us. All delirious and joined at the hip forever. That indoctrination is hard as hell to get out of the mind by the way, they drill that shit in constantly. Most of us can't stand our families for more than 10 minutes. I am going my own way where ever i end up after i live a full life away from my family on this planet.
I love my own company. Being alone is the best. I'd rather be alone and fully ME than in the presence of anyone where I have to put on a mask and pretend even a little bit.
Finding people that accept you fully without your mask is rare, but if you find them, it's like being alone... but not alone.
I can be alone also. I have tons of DVDs, books to keep me busy . I have an I phone also. Before my husband retired from the military, I was alone a lot. I can see you Adam ,in an episode of the twilight zone, where you’re trapped in a room with your whole family and you can’t get out ; All of the windows and doors won’t open. I better shut up, or you won’t be able to sleep tonight .
