OT - Humorist Pat McManus has passed away.

I enjoyed his stories for years in Outdoor Life. His tales of growing up hunting and fishing in northern Idaho will stay with me forever.

I started reading his collections of stories in high school. He was one of the best outdoor and humor writers I've read. If there is an afterlife, may his fishing be plentiful and Mean Cows absent!
