from a closed thread.

CH gave both the name of the blog and the title of the entry in the thread. It was easy to find with the information she provided. Hope that helps :)

Oh, so you id'd it when sharing the link to the esther blog by elder swindler? https://www.exmormon.org/phorum/read.php?2,2117446,2117860#msg-2117860

It didn't sound like he was speaking about CH scenario.

Guess CH could clear that up if she wants to.

I could see how offensive it was if swindler's mom was openly sharing in a blog how esther is perceived as somehow mentally inferior. It is stigmatizing and insulting on its face. The mom likely didn't bargain on its going virile. Yet it did.

If it helps any, elder swindler's mother calls herself "Sister Pottymouth."

We're here to take them at their word and give support if and when we can which doesn't include outing or demeaning them.

Cheryl, I dont believe in enabling people, Mormon or otherwise.

Had enough of that as a Mormon. Part of my recovery has been to learn not to enable falsehoods.

CH certainly has had her experience with Mormons and is working it thru, but she has never been one. And she has a problem with the lying that comes with Mormons. I get that. Do I think she was lying? No, because I don't think the intention was there. I do however, think she was propagating falsehoods, which Mormons do.

I, on the other hand, have been Mormon. And I will push back when I sense falsehoods being spread

And it isn't logical to equate a poster with a church organization that lies. Nor is it right to slam anyone for not having been baptized into the mormon church.

And I have done neither.
I have a right to my path of recovery as much as anyone.
No one's path of recovery out of Mormonism is wrong. Recovery is what it is.

I *won't* enable falsehoods, no matter where they come from. It's that simple
