My dad always used to say

"When the Saints gather, the heavens weep."

technically it is always the first Sunday of April, so there's been a few years where the Saturday session has been on March 31.

You're probably thinking of how the morg propogated the myth that Jebus was born on April 6.

Not to mention that he will return on 04/06. What a load of BS.

Also, I teach my girls that Jebus is Jesus' mildly retarded twin brother. They can pray to him, but loud noises and bright colors sometimes set him off.

"Historically, general conference was over three days with the annual conference always including April 6. This proved awkward when April 6 fell midweek as this made conference difficult to attend for those with work and school commitments. In April 1977, during Spencer W. Kimball's presidency, conference was reduced to two days, Saturday and Sunday."

I do remember conference being held one year on Thursday, April 6, and the following Saturday and Sunday so yes, at one time they did what was reasonable to have it on April 6th.
