What if Cats...

What is Cats became the official musical and music of the TSCC, would you go back?

I mean during the sacrament, you would see a part of Cats instead of those booooooorrrrrriiiiiinnnnnnggggggggg talks.

If you go to the temple, you would see the whole show.

Would YOU go back?????

That would be an even greater deception than the current one ...

You go to Broadway to see Cats.

Too weird to picture that happening inside a temple.

If TSCC were to go out of business though, the temples could be converted into other uses. Churches that went obsolete where I live have been converted into co-ops and apartment buildings while preserving the former architecture.

I wanted to buy a tee shirt that said "Hasa Diga Ebowai" on it, but my TBM DH barely made it through the musical and hustled me out of there.

I still feel the same sentiment, however!!

Such as:
Week 1: Jesus Christ Superstar
Week 2: Godspell
Week 3: Grease
Week 4: Cats
Week 5: Book of Mormon
Week 6: A Chorus Line
Week 7: Evita
Week 8: Midnight Express
Week 10: BYU the Bonner

etc.

I loved "Phantom of the Opera."

I ADORE stage musicals. I grew up in a family that loved them. Raised on Oscar and Hammerstein, Gilbert and Sullivan.

DH, unfortunately, does not like stage musicals or plays. I usually talk my neighbor the vet into driving and going with me if I pay for her ticket!! We have a fun "girls' night out!"

I think they should show "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" for the temple movie. Temple patrons could participate by bringing and using the props fans use when they watch the movie.

Never liked CATS (the musical or the animal) so NO...Actually don't dislike the animal so much as my allergy to them is so bad, I never like to be around them.
