Of course they do. Don’t you see the yellow shirts on TV?
Mostly they help the tribe, though. Church property is the main concern. Whenever a disaster hits, the only thing they mention is how the saints were affected.
I think tscc is like all other religious organizations. They get money from people, keep 90% donate 10% but only to causes and people that bring in the most return (special interests). Same goes to charities. Jmho
Two of the top three aid organizations in the US are the Salvation Army and the Southern Baptist Convention. Both, I believe give assistance without discrimination and with no strings. Not sure where your 90/10% figure comes from but would appreciate a source.
the LDS corporation thinks it is the members job to do that. Someone homeless? just let the members take them in. Someone without a job? just let a member higher them. Someone sick? Let the government take over.
The job of lds inc is to talk a lot and make everyone feel good, and hoard lots of money. But it's society and taxes that actually have to pay for everyone's entitlements.
There is no end of poor people, or disasters on this planet.

LDSink has no concept of tribe, unless it comes to CONTROL (as if it were the people's king)!
Mormonism is a tribe of 1 (When it comes to helping)! But when it does the HURTING, it's a tribe of multitudes.
To mormonism,it is only a disaster when it comes to 'church' property.
The people SHOULD TAKE CARE OF THEMSELVES (like they are COMMANDED [By LDS "leaders"])... AND LEAVE THE 'CHURCH' (like it left them [in the dark], cold, dark and empty), [to it's lone sum].
It doesn't't want to stand out It wants to stand in, and stare
