Great commentary from an ExMo in SL Trib. Comments are always the best. It's always pretty clear who's swallowed the KoolAid and who's good with the Red Pill.

the GAs would undoubtedly consider it a sign of weakness if they were to fold under pressure to some social issue, popular or not;

the 1990 (?) changes in the 'temple ceremony' stand as an exception, but that was only an internal matter; sometimes exceptions make the rule, 'eh?
