The episode on right now is investigating "a Utah restaurant with a connection to a bloody war between Native Americans and the Mormons." I just channel-surfed across it, but it's on for another hour.

I am nevermo, and I have never heard of this.

Are there any details available, like (for example) what name this particular "bloody war" (or "clash") is known by in American or tribal history?

Thank you.

I only saw the last few minutes of a "mormon" segment. They've moved to a place in Prescott, and I'm not sure if it's got Mormon connections or not. It's in the morridor.

The local "Indian War" is most likely the Black Hawk war.

However there were several instances of massacres of Native Americans.

Most likeky the one where they put the Native Americans in a cellar and took them out one by one to kill them.

Can't remember where that took place. I'm sure our historians can refresh my memory.

Circleville Utah April 1866 during Utah's Blackhawk War. Up to 30 Paiute Indian men, women and children were killed by local Mormons.

The same episode is restarting right now!
I believe the first hour is the Mormon part.

Walker war? I think they just mentioned that.

In response to the question of whether they've ever had a priest or someone come, the lady who owns the restaurant says they've had Mormon blessings done.

So...we know that's entirely worthless. ;)
