An official letter from the First Presidency has announced that the week-long dedication previously scheduled for the Rome Italy Temple has been shortened to three days: Sunday, March 10, 2019 through Tuesday, March 12, 2019. The open house and youth devotional dates remain the same. The temple will open for ordinance work on Tuesday, March 19, 2019.

3 days for a "dedication"? One of their so-called "dedications" is done and finished in one prayer. Everything after that is just one hot fart.

...they were given a choice to limit the dedication. It was conflicting with the "Days of Wine and Roses" feast occurring nearby at a local winery hosted by the Corleon family. There was already bad blood starting to occur with some of the more older, established families in the region.

The Romans are calling the temple the "Toaster Building" because it looks like a giant toaster. Maybe after the Lord accepts the temple after the dedication two giant pieces of toast pop out of the roof.

Just before the biscotti is done, the Moroni statue starts spinning around making horn-blowing sounds. Then the local people know that it's time to gather at the foot of the building with wide baskets to catch the hot biscotti that comes flying out of the roof.

It's a compromise that the LSD Church leaders had to make to get permission to build in that area.
