Saw a news clip on FOX News on the giving machines.

A spokesman made sure you know the CJCLDS was the big supporter of the effort.

Has anyone heard of this?

...yeah. They were being shown on Fox News. Just how much did the machines cost? Why invest in unique vending machines, when just handing the merchandise over to a homeless shelter would cost zero. And asking regular folks to "purchase" the items would seem to infer a cost-retrieval on the part of the vendor; not necessarily a flown-blown charitable venture.

Seriously?

QUICK! someone ask LDS, Inc. what their definition of 'charity' is, & how it 'works' in the MORMON CHURCH...

At least the donations in the vending machines are going to proper charities which help people and publish their financials.

In five years, not one dime that British Mormon church members have designated to the church's Humanitarian Fund has been given out. Perhaps the Mormon church authorities should ask these other charities how they manage to do it.

Did you know that you can donate 3 soccer balls for $45 or you can treat yourself to a custom decorated water bottle for $5 ?

Maybe you could easily purchase a TR without really trying?
