I very much admired Sonia Johnson back in the 1970's when she was a leader in the women's rights movement. She got a raw deal from the Mormon church, but it was the expected outcome that she would. She had a lot of guts to follow her moral courage which cost her marriage and her standing in the corporation disguised as a church.
Ironic that a human being fighting for complete equality would be at odds with their religion.
This is one of my "singularities" with regards to religion and my former one. Of all the human endeavors in history the focus on inequality much galls me. I believe taxation of religious organization is a must for religions who have tenets at odds with complete human equality in human life.
We all have differing limitations in our composition but what set of reproductive organization is involved in these compositions in my belief and opinion should never be considerations in social limitations placed on human beings.
