Mine is The Big Lebowski. I've tried to watch it a few times; my son is a huge fan and just can't understand why I don't like it. It's been 5-6 years since I tried it but don't think doing it again will help.

And yes, I know that if I watch it more than once, I'll love it even more.

"A Clockwork Orange." The costuming and design I could learn to deal with, but the fact that I practically need a dictionary to watch it is a problem for me.

"Eraserhead." Great film for psychology students, not so much for normal audiences.

Most "found footage" movies. I tried watching "V/H/S" a couple of times, but I kept getting motion sick from the camera work. If any filmmakers are reading this, non-stop camera shaking is a trend that needs to die out.

BTW, the only way to watch "Rocky Horror" is at a public screening. It's not just a weird movie, it's an experience.

I felt ripped off that I watched to the end.

I felt that way too.

I also felt ripped off that I spent about two years trying to figure out if Lynch is a genius or a dolt.

Hey, GNPE

The Big Sleep has always and I think still does, confuse me. Years ago, there was a guy in UCLA who did a big study about it and how many changes had been made after the first shoot, because Lauren Bacall apparently was beautiful but not much of an actress at least there.

There's this version, which at first sounds awful but it's not. https://www.amazon.com/Big-Sleep-Robert-Mitchum/dp/B07CND352G/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1547572219&sr=8-3&keywords=the+big+sleep

It's on Amazon Prime if you have that, but you can always buy the DVD. Set in the UK, it tends to explain some of the stuff from the first one. AND, there's a whole book about it which I found in my library.
