I was trying to find email addresses for any of the moderators, and they seem to be hiding. I happen to know the identities of a few, and a few have email addresses on their profiles, but if I didn't know that already, how would anyone contact a moderator?

Please, moderators, make yourselves more available, not invisible!

You have to prove up possession of a valid TR, then they'll communicate with you.

It's for everyone's safety.

Hi, Richard:

Pick any post (doesn't matter which one), hit the Report button, and for your report, say what you have said in this thread.

The reports are read by Admin and the mods, and whoever you want to contact, they will [undoubtedly, I think] be reading that report, too.

In your report, give [whoever] a way to get back to you.

If Richard is like me, and never "officially" logged in, he may not have the option of seeing the "Report" button. I don't. Susan I/S and I tried years ago to get me logged in, and the system would not let me log in as "catnip," and I refuse to have an identity crisis when I'm in my 70s. "Tain't fittin.'

Good point, catnip.

Alternative: email Concrete Zipper (email address is in [|]'s post), below.

Don't know any of the others email.

How any newbie (or even oldie) would think to look in a sticky about short stories for CZ's email is beyond me. Clicking on the poster's name in the sticky to check CZ's profile, it says his address is "hidden" Also hidden is Tevai's address. Eric and Maude have addresses available. But the user has to be clever enough to click on all the sticky posters to find an address.

Yes, pressing ''Report" on any post will contact mods, but again, that is quite roundabout, especially when one is not reporting that post at all.

Why not have an Option (in addition to Reply, Quote, etc called "Contact Moderators"?

Concrete Zipper is now in charge. He has been quite busy. If there is something you need, my regular email is erickett@gmail.com. I am currently at my son's place in Florida so I may not respond immediately. The weather is quite nice...

That is a good suggestion. I will fix that when I get home or concrete zipper can.

They often reply to prayer, I've found, if combined with generous libations.

The amount of spam which will flood into the mods email should their unmasked email just be sitting out, is insane. They have to protect themselves. They are NOT PAID to do this, after all.
