The older folk will remember the knowledge shared during mormon "deep discussions" about how 'Intelligence' is eternal. It sits out their in the void, and the ghawds 'organize' it into their spirit offspring.

I have now confirmed with sources that Dark Matter is this 'Intelligence'. And Dark Energy is what the ghawds tap into in order to use Dark Matter!

Seriously, I think Dark Matter and Dark Energy are going to turn out to be the two biggest errors in 21st century cosmology theory. They supposed constitute about 95% of the universe, yet we can't find any evidence for them except that we have no other way to explain the observed rotation of galaxies (so dark matter must be outside the galaxies, making their outer arms spin faster than predicted). We can't explain the accelerating expansion of the universe, so we invented dark energy, also not observable.

Something is obviously going on. However, I wouldn't be totally surprised if we later discover a different explanation. Dark Energy and Dark Matter sound way too much like "Just So" stories to me.

There genuinely was an old mormon belief/teaching that 'Intelligence' was a special kind of matter and that with the proper knowledge, a quantity of it could be 'organized' into a spirit child. So it wasn’t really a matter of knocking up your wives.

So I'm just having fun with that old mormon esoterica.

And who knows, maybe they accidentally got one right!
