Deseret "News" in the most not news manner

I use the DesNews app on my phone and don't remember for sure why. It has local coverage and of course, my favorite, obituaries.

Today, it also has Church "News" which is so far from news it's almost straight out of next month's Ensign

Not sure how any "news" person would consider this article actual news.

WOW! Now young Mormons are going to expect this. I don't know how this is a good thing. I thought the ruling philosophy was a temple entrance expectation only - marry anyone worthy to enter.

It's funny how she said that she got relvelation to marry Nelson, and then quickly backtracked to state that every member can get such revelation. If so, what do we need Nelson for?

she is the prophet. Oh sure, it was such a difficult decision. Well, maybe to not live with her girlfriend any longer. BUT she could be the wife of the PROPHET. Bullshit that it was a difficult decision.
