This is a complete sell out after bad publicity. They should just loosen their hair regulations. Does this mean white men can get Mohawks or pony tails? Of course not.

Seriously true. if this was a white guy with the dreadlocks the standards would have been enforced for sure. Dreadlocks are fine and are probably the oldest hair style humans wore, and they look good if groomed right, but every time I see them the person who is sporting them hasn't washed his hair in years. They get to looking really natty after awhile.

I knew that word as a teenager, what's all this "gaslighting" garbage? Stick to coprographia, it suits your mentality better. I didn't learn the word "tendentious" off you either as you keep claiming I did.

The skit isn't "racist", in fact it's sending up racist preconceptions of how someone should sound. There are white people who sound "black" notably some white Jamaicans who speak with a Caribbean accent.

Language, believe it or not, is not racist. That's how a lot of white Africans speak Swahili etc and a lot of black Africans speak English, French etc.

Let's also mention that the skit was written by the two jive talking black guys in the scene. Barbara Billingsley known as"June Cleaver" actually rebooted her career from that scene.

The humor in my first post was just playing to the dark history of the church keeping that God power from blacks for so many years. Just picture a full on dredd locks brother with a rastafarian hat (instead of baker hat) and shades giving you the ghost in the temple with an 80 year old white dude disapproving.

I still find that film funny, even though a lot of the humor is pretty juvenile. I guess Mrs Lot chose the wrong day to give up glue sniffing.
