Alberta MLA (from Cardston) quotes Nazi in since-deleted tweet

Well, this is making the rounds on Twitter in Alberta:

It also mentions how Grant Hunter said in a 2010 letter-to-the-editor for the Cardston Temple City Star of how Cardston residents (I assume this doesn't include its First Nations residents) are "reared" from "superior stock", and even used (and misspelled) 'Aryan':

To be even more of a cliche, he condemns pornography in the same letter.

That's stupid. Von Braun may have been a Nazi, but he was also director of the US space program from the end of WWII into the early 1960s if I recall correctly. And the quote had nothing whatsoever to do with Nazis.

Hunter may be a jackass and a bigot, but nothing wrong with this particular quote.

Guess I come from "superior stock." That's news to me. Also, after a brief look at my family and extended family, makes me question his definition of "superior."

God damn the Nazis and what they did, but is seems to me that people of ANY political parties hate bureaucratic red tape too. We all do. There's nothing wrong with wanting or needing less of that shit in our lives.
