Apparently, this is the 21st anniversary of being named something/something by a group that lists colleges that have a reputation for being "stone cold sober". Can you believe that? (said in a sarcastic voice)

Must be something in the Kool Aid.

Here's the lame quote from the article, then I will add my own version of mormon thinking.

I think that statement sums up the entire authoritarian premise of the church. Members need to be and act like children, they're not smart enough to think for themselves.

I recall sitting in a terrible missionary meeting and the topic of how to increase [our] missionary teaching family pool. And the no brain idea was for our zone to set up a root beer float stand. And while we are serving up free root beer floats, we teach a first discussion and slip the unsuspecting person a book of mormon. It was a really bad idea that lacked sophistication and tact, and I was still believing. All I kept thinking was who's going to pay for all the ice cream, soda and cups etc.
